Depart Cape Town via Sir lowry's Pass to Hermanus ( whale watching season is from June- November),
Mosselbay (visit Historical Postal Tree and maritime Museum- Bartholomy Diaz) Via rolling hills of Swellendam to Knysna, heart of the Garden Route , via coastal drive inc Wilderness. Overnight in Knysna
Optional : Sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon, with sundowners and a view of the famous Knysna Heads
We visit the "Big Tree" an 800 year old yellow wood tree and take a 1 hour walk within the indigenous rainforest. we also pay avisit to the Stormsriver mouth in the Tsisikamma National Park, a natural indigenous forest. Overnight in Plettenberg bay.
Optional: Walking with elephants in Knysna, a Dolphin cruise in Plettenberg bay, or the highest commercial Bungi Jump in the world at a height of approximately 240m.
Travel with Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe train, the only surviving steam train world wide, to George. (2 ½ hours along the most scenic coastline of SA).
Via Outeniqua Pass to Oudtshoorn the Ostrich Capital of the world. We visit an Ostrich Farm, the Cango Wild Life centre (cheetah rehabilitation program) and the world renowned Cango caves. Overnight in Oudtshoorn.
Optional:Touch a Cheetah at Cango Wildlife Centre Cheetah rehabilitation centre.
Return to Cape Town via Route 62, the world's longest wine route. We drive through Barrydale, Montague, Worcester and via the Du Toitskloof Pass to Cape Town . We'll enjoy a wine tasting at one of the mnay excellent South African Wine Estates near Worcester.
